Hey, this is a topic to answer some questions about action bars and bindings.
Unfortunately we don't have control over what spells and abilities get placed on the action bars. The bars are one of the things that really come down to personal preference. I recommend you get some
cool mouse-over macros from our forums to place on your action bars. When I heal a raid on my disc priest, I use the X-Perl raid frames with healing mouse-over macros. For example: I have 1 bound to Greater Heal, 2 bound to Flash heal, Q bound to Power Word(shield), E bound to Prayer of Mending, etc. This allows you to quickly press a bound key while mousing over the target you want to heal without needing to target them, thus cutting out that whole step and making healing more efficient.
As for bindings, we set Bartender to bind keys like Q, E, F, etc. This is what we have found to be one of the easiest and fastest ways to cast spells or use abilities, especially with mouse-over macros. They enable you to cast your most used abilities quickly with one hand rather than having to scroll all the way down to the action bars for Blizzard's default UI. It does take some getting used to and if you don't like the way to bars are bound you can easily change them by bringing up bartender by clicking the mug looking icon around your minimap or typing /bartender. You will see a large button on the top of the menu that says "Key Bindings". Once you click that, you can easily change your bindings by mousing over the action bar button and pressing the key you would like bound to that slot.
I welcome anyone's advice or questions on the topic of actions bars and bindings with the advantage.
